3月4月5月でレンタルサーバを3回変更した。

3月末まではSaasesのOsukini Cloud 最小構成を利用していて、どうやら料金体系とかが変ると言うことで、もう少し料金を下げようかと、お名前.comのVPS(KVM)1GBプランに挑戦。

お名前.comのVPSに載せ替えたあとも、半分放置したまま無料期間が終了し本契約…。
その後、久々にWordPressを使ってみようとしたら…重い。
たまーに軽いときもあるけど、基本重かった。

次にSAKURAインターネットのVPS 1Gを試してみた。
そこそこ行けそうな気がして、自分のソース管理用にGitLabを導入したら…重い。
無料体験が切れる前日にVPS SSD 2Gプランに載せ替え。

これが意外なほど当りっ。
WordPressもGitLabも快適に動作するようになった。
ただ、料金が1000円→967円→924円→1679円と安くする予定が高くなってしまったけど、快適さと引き替えならアリ。
(1679円は年払い料金を12で割った場合)

SAKURAのVPSは無料体験中は通信速度が絞られるらしいけど、そんなに画像が多いサイトでもないので今のところ気にならない。

この他にクラウドの最安プランとかも考えたけど、個人で専用サーバ的にずっと使って行くとすると、まだまだVPSの方が料金が安く済むので、当分はVPSで。
